I found these at a store but needed a 39 (size 8ish) because the 40 seemed too big. When I found them here I ordered the 39 and they were too small ??? I liked them enough so I exchanged for the 40 (9ish). It fits well if a tad on the looser side, but not bothersome. I'm getting the impression these lack consistency in sizing which is too bad.I do very much like them, find them comfortable, easy to put on and they go with the outfits I wanted them to go with. However, as someone else noted, these aren't white. I'd almost say gray (or griege as the other person said).The fact some thought these were too narrow, too stiff, etc.. again makes me think they don't have the best quality control on these shoes, but I guess I lucked out.Love those!I have two pairsI ordered a couple pairs of white leather sneakers and I liked these the best. They aren't as clunky looking as similar shoe. They are not a bright white; they are almost a very light griege color, which I like. The heel is about 1.5 inches which I also like. Great arch support although a little further back in the shoe than my natural arch but still comfortable. I wear a 7.5 in dress shoes and 8 in sneakers and based on other reviews, I ordered the 8-8.5 and they fit great. No breaking in needed. Feel very supportive.Absolutely love them!!Color is beautiful!!I like everything about these sneakers. They are not a real white, more of an off-white or “dark white”. I wasn’t sure about the color at first but grew to like it. Can wear with dresses, shorts, jeans. They are comfortable and look stylish, what else can you ask from a pair of sneakers?I never have a problem with the shies since I know my size and it has been so many years as I order shoes online. Never a problem.This shoes ARE SO STIFF ,NOT COMFORTABLE, TIGHT AND HARD ON THE HEEL. ( I got blisters twice already) . I ordered my usual size but nope it isn't working.Just very disappointed. Look for something better fir this priceShoe sole is thicker under heel which pushes foot forward,which causes unwanted pressure into a narrow toe box. Overall shoe is stiff and has does not feel soft or cushioned at all.Attractive but runs about a size too large
