Like:First off, the do seem to be ethic. The leather is really nice, and the real sheepskin is very like Uggs. The footbed is much more formed then, say, Sketchers ( which are not in the same price range) . Not V italia fit and formed (that are in the same price range) The footbed and arch are normal (not as soft as V italia) but the nice real wool footbed can be taken out, and does make a nicely soft footbed. If you have high arches (like I do) use an arch support othepedic insert (I put one in from another boot just to try out) it will fit with out rubbing on the top of your foot. But, I found I didn't need an other insert. The shoebed isn't narrow, but flattering, not looking like a wide a huge "manshoe" like other boots. The bottoms are perfect for winter grip, but still flex nicely. Best of all, the top and bottom look slim and flattering and not gapping out. There is a membrane in the foot that suppose to make it somewhat waterproof. The price was more then half priced the time period I bought. I put them in the cart, then they went up another $50 before I went to pay, then they went back down again to less then half price. Amazon does that, so a good tip for bargain hunters like me, put in the cart you want and watch! Amazon just stared selling this brand.Cons:Because the sheepskin is real, one boot has a thicker skin then the other in my pair. Is it a deal breaker for me? No, but if your picky it might. There is no zipper, so you put them on like you do Uggs or cowboy boots, flex the foot and shove. If you can't do that, look somewhere else. This color is a bit lighter then pictured in color, not a lot or a deal breaker. Made from sheepskin from Spain but made in Indonesia. Older Ecco are made in Portugal like other fine (and expensive) shoes.Ecco has fantastic quality boots and shoes.These fit perfect. I was looking for a warm boot in black that I could wear when I drive to work. At work I change into heels. And this boot is everything that I was looking for. And you can't beat the price. The original price on the Ecco website is $220 and currently they are being sold for $190, I believe. So...thank you amazon. They also have good foot support. I wear them every day.I really like these boots a lot. I usually wear a size 42 in the ecco brand but with this style I needed the 43. Once I got the right size, I found these boots ultra comfortable and warm. They are like wearing ugg boots, however, they look way more stylish and you don't feel 'sloppy' in them.Sooo comfortable, warm and gorgeous! Love these boots! My shoe size is an 8 but normally buy an 8.5 on tennis shoes and boots but based on reviews I purchased a 9 they are perfect!!!Love, love, love!!!My favorite winter footwear. Very warm and comfortable.These are impossible to return - they were much smaller than all my other ecco's in the same size - they're international and the label isn't accepted anywhere - they also want over $200 for return shipping - good luck............First, these boots are flat. I need flat boots. They feel solid and well balanced under foot. Like a good pair of classic Uggs only lighter.Second, they are not easy to get your foot into. Someone with a high arch might find it next to impossible. Not too bad for me, but more of a struggle than the typical boot.Third, they run small. I recommend at least 1/2 size up.Fourth, they are shallow--work best for people who have a more shallow foot--, like most of the Bella style shoes (though these are a Soft 7), and they are also a narrow medium as is true with the Bella style.Fifth, they are narrow in the calf--great for slim legged people. However, if you a proportionally normal leg the bigger your feet get, these probably won't fit unless rolled down. I tried on a 7.5 (normally a 7 in Ecco) and they would have snuggly fit with a pair of jeans and my legs are proportionally slender to my shoe size. (Meaning, boots typically flop away from my calves.)Sixth, if you need to insert a low profile orthotic, you might want to go a full size up because of the shallowness of the foot area. I can normally fit an orthotic into a boot without removing the innersole (this innersole cannot be removed and I don't think you'd want to) and without sizing up. When I tried that with 1/2 size up, the boot was too tight.(I've decided not to test out my theory about it working with a full size up because I have boots that I like well enough (a pair of old Uggs of a similar style that are still in good condition.)So, if you can handle all of those conditions (and don't need arch support, which typically is not supplied in boots), I highly recommend these boots. They truly are gorgeous.Lovely stylish boot but far smaller than the usual ecco boot. No problem with returns, I am so annoyed they didnt fit, I bought an UK size 7 but it at least 1 size or even 2 sizes too small! A real shameI return my boots on 20th of December because the size was too small and you refund my money on 21st of December. Excellent customer service you have!!!!!I placed my biggest size of boots in order and I can't wait an email when you have an estimated delivery date !!!!Really disappointed when I received the boots I ordered. The shoes are like they have been used. You can see from the pictures that there is a big bump on the surface of the boots which is obviously a defect item. I have purchased over 20 pairs of shoes from Ecco and nothing was like that. If I m going to return that, it will cost 30 pounds from where I live. So I m now stuck with this ugly used shoes.Everything is great, the material is good quality and the size was correct.Thank you very much xx
