Great cooler, but it doesn't hold ice for as long as it says. This cooler keeps beer colder than my refrigerator, which is at a fairly low temperature. It has been great for a little over a year.Every time the zipper gets tough, I add a little of the included oil and it smooths out. However, after just 14 months, the zipper has gone off track. Attempts to ease it back on track bent tines in the zipper, making it impossible to close beyond that point.Should Tourit reach out to me to correct this, I might be inclined to bump this up to 5 stars. *hint*I purchased this cooler in April and used it on 15+ camping and beach trips over the entire summer. I initially wanted a yeti/rtic hardsided cooler knowing how great they are since my parents have one, however they are ridiculously heavy even when empty - I'm a single female in my 20s and didn't want to deal with trying to lug a heavy cooler to & from my car/apartment building by myself. This soft-sided cooler is so lightweight when empty and super manageable when full thanks to the shoulder strap. As far as the cooler quality - this thing keeps your stuff COLD for 2-4 days without having to replace ice. I've used Yetis & RTICs and it's just as good as the hard-sided coolers in my opinion, as long as you minimize the time it's open (duh). Another thing that helps with longevity is putting icepacks in the cooler the night before my trip to 'pre-chill' it and obviously putting in already cold beverages.Size is perfect for beer & food for a 2-3 night trip for two people, but I've also taken it on trips with a 6-7 person group and used it solely for our food (raw meat, cheese, things that need to stay cold) and used crappy Coleman coolers with dry ice for the beer supply. With this, by day 3 there is still ice (although less, obviously) and extremely cold ice water.I've kept it out in the sun at the beach, Tahoe, the desert east of the Sierras, in my hot car in California, etc and have yet to be disappointed in the quality of this cooler. I'm not exactly super careful with this cooler and its held up through my summer adventures. Never had an issue with leaks or tears. Cleans super easily - I rinse it down in my apartment shower then airdry it upside down after trips where it gets dusty/dirtier than normal, light use.Seeing other reviews about poor zipper quality prior to purchasing, I was proactive about care to give it the best chance possible. I definitely don't lubricate the zipper *every time* I use the cooler, but maybe after every 3rd use/whenever I remember to while unpacking and I have not had any issues with it so far. Even with my careless friends opening & closing it freely, the zipper and lid stitchings have held up all summer. The zipper does loosen up after regular use which helps, I do remember it being pretty stiff the first couple times I used it. I imagine lubricating the zippers more frequently during in the beginning would help break it in quicker.I think some of the reviewers here are exaggerating how much care you have to put into this cooler. Use it, be nice to it, lubricate the zipper every couple of uses and it's tough enough for many adventures. So glad I bought it in April, it's definitely the best investment/purchase I made for the summer. I've had multiple friends tell me what a great buy it was too.I hardly used this. Until my work picked up and I started to travel more. The zipper broke and you could not move past the broken spot to zip it up. Then the zipper came all the way off. I can not get it back on. So there is no way to seal it! Who can fix a heavy duty zipper!??SO - I bought a leak-proof "better" cooler for a reason. I travel full-time and I often have to carry random food items leftover from one place to another or even store them in my car. I also happen to buy a new car recently. Recently, I decided to keep that one pickle left in a half jar of pickle juice as part of my lunch on the first day of a 4-day relocation drive. Well, somehow both the jar and my cheap cooler from Walmart turned over and spilled half a jar of pickle juice in my new car and it was 3 more days until I could properly clean it up!Admittedly, I have not had any other liquids spill in this cooler - like, I haven't had the whole thing full of liquid and turn over yet. BUT, I can definitely say that it keeps everything MUCH cooler than my old cooler did. The reusable ice packs I put in it are usually still mostly unmelted by the end of a day's drive. And the zipper isn't that hard to do. It comes with a tube of lube but I haven't even used it and it zips and unzips fine.I will say that it's a big larger than I thought. It's probably twice as large as my old cooler but maybe only 10% larger inside. The walls are very thick. And it doesn't have much for exterior pockets. But the can opener is a nice touch and I like the shoulder strap a lot. All in all, it's a keeper, works really well and not as expensive as some. (And I'm hoping leak proof.)EDIT: I've had this cooler for over a year and a half now (about 20 months), use it very frequently, and it does keep items admirably cold (though not frozen.) But now I'm having terrible trouble with the zipper - the majority of the time it takes several trys to get it actually to zip closed. A few days ago, I sat on the floor of my hotel room for 30 minutes trying to zip it closed! Sometimes the included lube helps but more and more often it does not. And neither Tourit nor Amazon seem to be able to do anything about it. I feel like there's a warranty in play but I don't seem to be able to access it. So I feel like it will soon be useless - can't keep things cool or leakproof if it won't zip closed.I have had it for a few weeks it does not keep ice like they say it does it only keeps ice for 10 to 12 hours at most the zipper leaks and if you put 20 cans in it there is no room for ice now for the upside it is very sturdy and easy to carry fits easily in to the floor board of a car the zipper opens and closes easily and it doesn't sweat over all I wish I had spent the extra money and bought the Yeti but it works okay for what I use it for
